Teentech Newark was a special event organized exclusively for the high school girls of Newark city schools. The collaborators of this event were pleased to be able to offer this event free of the usual Teentech registration fee.
High school girls from Newark city schools worked together with faculty and students of the host institution to learn and practice technology based problem-solving in a college laboratory setting. Students were accompanied by educators who have their own program on how to encourage girls to pursue STEM education and careers.
